I’ve always been a creative person — throughout high school, I was an avid painter and award-winning sound designer. At college, I found my voice as a non-fiction writer, but also dabbled in radio, graphic design and more. No matter the medium, I strive to tell an honest and compelling story. With that in mind, I am always detail oriented and extremely planful — I never skimp on research, because I understand that all good stories begin with good reporting.

Whether it’s co-hosting a weekly talk show or covering a field hockey game when the Sports editor is out of commission, I find that teaming up with my peers has not only made me a better communicator, but has also taught me about my own writing process.
